The Board of Canvassers for the City of Tomah will meet on Friday, April 4, 2014 at 4:00 p.m. in the City Clerk’s office, 819 Superior Avenue, Tomah, to review the election results for the votes cast for the City of Tomah at the Spring Election held on Tuesday, April 1, 2014.

ALDERPERSON VACANCY – WARDS 1 & 2

 

Notice is hereby given to residents in Wards 1 & 2 of the City of Tomah of a vacancy on the City Council for the 1st Aldermanic District.  This vacancy is effective with the March 11th Council meeting.  This appointment will expire in April 2015 at which time there will be an election for a two year term.  Letters of interest should be submitted to the Office of the City Administrator, City of Tomah, 819 Superior Avenue, Tomah, WI 54660.  Letters must be received no later than Tuesday, April 1, 2014 with the appointment being made at the April 8th Common Council meeting.

Snow Removal - City of Tomah

Please be advised that City of Tomah Ordinance requires removal of snow and ice from City sidewalks within 24 hours after any snowstorm.  It is the responsibility of the owner of the property to ensure that sidewalks are properly cleaned.  Failure to comply will result in the City cleaning the sidewalk and bill the property owner based on the sidewalk footage of the property parcel.
